First Prompt Builder
Turns a rough request into a complete opening prompt, ready to paste into a new chat. It interviews you until no gaps remain, and it never invents information.
The problem
The answer is only as good as the request
A vague request gets a generic answer, and then the back-and-forth begins: ten messages to reach what you wanted from the start. Each one costs time, credits and usage limits. A well-built prompt in the very first message breaks that cycle.
How it works
Four steps, one conversation
You describe
Say in a few words what you want to do in the new chat, however it comes out.
It asks
It spots what is missing or vague and asks. No limit on questions, zero assumptions.
You confirm
It sums up what it understood and moves on only after you confirm.
Prompt ready
You get the complete prompt in one block, ready to copy and paste.
The method
The five ingredients of a good prompt
Every prompt First Prompt Builder creates covers these five items and ends by asking the AI to ask questions before answering.
- 1RoleWho the AI should be: a senior analyst, a copywriter, a consultant.
- 2ContextThe situation, available data, attached files and who the audience is.
- 3GoalThe outcome you really want, not just the task.
- 4FormatLength, structure, tone, sections and language of the answer.
- 5ExampleA reference of what you consider good, if you have one. It never makes one up unless you ask.
Before and after
The difference in practice
Write a summary of the quarter's results.
Result: nice-looking text, but empty — no context, no personalization.
You are a senior data analyst, and I'm going to paste my team's sales numbers for the quarter below. My goal is to convince my manager that the March dip was a one-off and that the trend is recovery. I want an executive summary of no more than three paragraphs, in a professional but direct tone, followed by a table comparing the three months. Before you write, ask me any questions you need so you don't invent any information.
Where it works
Use it with the AI you already use
Claude
Installs as a native skill and kicks in on its own when you ask for a prompt.
ChatGPT
Paste the instructions into a Project or a custom GPT.
Gemini
Create a Gem and paste the instructions into its instructions field.
Any AI
Paste the file as the first message of a new chat.
What you get
One download, one decision
The files are in English. You can talk to it in your own language, and the final prompt comes out in the language you choose.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Setup is copy and paste (or one upload, in Claude), and using it is a normal conversation.
Does it work on free plans?
The features it uses (skills in Claude, Projects in ChatGPT and Gems in Gemini) are available on those platforms' free plans today. With any AI, you can also paste it as the first message.
What if I don't know the answer to a question?
Say so. It asks whether that information should be left out or whether the AI in the new chat should ask for it. It never fills it in for you.
How do refunds work?
The purchase is made on AppSumo and follows AppSumo's refund policy.
Is there support?
